How To Get LTPP Data

InfoPave logoThe Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) data are provided to the public through the LTPP InfoPave™ Web site at https://infopave.fhwa.dot.gov/.

LTPP InfoPave™
Launched in 2014, LTPP InfoPave™ enables users to tap easily into the wealth of pavement performance data and knowledge available from the LTPP program. The Web-based system offers a gateway to data from the LTPP test sections, as well as findings from data analyses and extensive documentation for the many aspects of LTPP experiments, including design, data acquisition, quality control, and data dissemination. The new site for LTPP InfoPave™ is located at https://infopave.fhwa.dot.gov. Visitors will also find information on LTPP InfoPave™ Mobile, a companion application for smart phones. For more information, contact Jane Jiang at 202–493–3149 or jane.jiang.@dot.gov.

Standard Data Release

A second method by which to receive LTPP data is through the Standard Data Release (SDR). The SDR contains the LTPP data in an access database format and can be downloaded from LTPP InfoPave or by contacting:

Ancillary Data and Information

Some data are not stored in the pavement performance database and not included with the Standard Data Release, typically because of intensive storage memory requirements. Point-by-point road profile, Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) time-history waveforms, distress map data, and raw traffic data are a few examples. However, this data may still be requested through a custom data extraction. While requests may be filled free-of-cost, limitations will exist based on the level of effort required to fulfill the request. These requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis. To request ancillary data and information, please contact the LTPP Customer Support Service Center at ltppinfo@dot.gov, or by calling 202 –493–3035, or by faxing 202–493–3161.

Customer Feedback

Customer Feedback can be submitted to LTPP Customer Support Service by using a Data Analysis/Operations Feedback Report, a mechanism used to report any problems or suspicions about the data. LTPP investigates the report, and investigation results are posted on the LTPP Web site at http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/pavement/ltpp/feedback.cfm.

Customer Survey

In an effort to serve our customers better, we invite you to complete a brief questionnaire. Please take a few minutes to answer each question that applies to the service you received on your request(s) for customer support.
