 This
special Recovery section of my website allows all
Virgin Islanders and other interested persons to
follow how the U.S. Virgin Islands is using its
funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act of 2009.
As Governor, I have
committed our government to meet the highest
standards in accounting for every dollar that comes
to us from the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act. We intend to get all the money that is provided
for us and we intend to obligate and to spend these
funds as quickly as possible in our recovery
efforts.
I also want to hear
from you. A section
of this website allows comments to be submitted
with respect to any and on all aspects of our
efforts as we work to ensure accessibility,
accountability and openness.
