Scholarship Recipient Testimonials: Dennis Zabawa of The Drug Testing Place, Inc. We used the scholarship to attend the 2015 DATIA Conference and to attend the CPC Trainer program. It has given myself and my company the means to attend a conference which has improved our company's knowledge. We just purchased the business last year and without this scholarship, I would of never been able to attend the conference. This scholarship helped in meeting people in DATIA as well as vendors. It was great to be able to speak to people. Using that information as well as the information from the speakers to improve my knowledge, has really helped our company. O. Michael Hollingsworth, Owner of D.D.W. Drug Testing Services. Inc.: I’m grateful for this opportunity because I’m was so anxious to learn this industry. The 2016 Annual Conference was very informative. I had the pleasure of meeting some darling people who care about the industry in which we work and who were willing to share their wealth of knowledge. I've fallen in love with this industry just by going to the conference!Aakash Nayyar, Owner of Sky Transport Solutions: I met amazing people with great knowledge who were really friendly and answered all my questions. The sessions helped me to understand the drug and alcohol testing industry better. It was my first time at a conference and DATIA made it a wonderful and knowledgeable experience. At the conference, I learned how important it is to keep our employees drug free. We work in the trucking industry, so it was really important for us to learn and apply guidelines correctly. Now I am more aware of DOT regulations. As part of knowledge I received, I met some amazing vendors who provided me with contacts to make my business more profitable. |
