Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator Safety Training Grant - Eligibility

Eligible awardees include:

• State, local, and Federally Recognized Native American Tribal Governments
• Accredited post-secondary educational institutions (public or private) such as colleges, universities, vocational technical schools, associations, and truck driver training schools (accredited and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education) are also eligible
• Primary funding priority is given to regional or multi-State educational or not-for-profit associations that recruit and train current and former members of the United States Armed Forces (including National Guard members and Reservists) and their spouses to receive training to transition to the CMV operation industry.

Note: Individuals are not eligible for this grant.
