The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) is an industry-driven, applied research program that develops practical solutions to problems faced by airport operators. Funding more than 20 research projects a year, ACRP focuses on research needs that other Federal research programs do not address. ACRP is managed by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies and sponsored by the FAA.

TRB will hold a free webinar to discuss the potential effects of WiFi disruptions and cyber-attacks. Facility managers and planners, information technology professionals, and airport consultants and tenants will be provided with resources and best practices to help address these concerns. This webinar will provide 1.5 Continuing Education Units for Accredited Airport Executives and is pending approval by the American Institute of Certified Planners for 1.5 Certification Maintenance Credits.

TRB's Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) has released its latest Impacts on Practice that explores the ACRP Ambassadors Program. The Ambassador Program is one of ACRP’s dissemination initiatives helping to strengthen its connection to the airport industry. The Ambassadors Program seeks new volunteers who are passionate about improving the airport industry. Ambassadors will benefit from networking opportunities connecting practitioners to the research they need to do their jobs.
