The Environmental Process

The FTA Office of Environmental Programs maintains this site to provide information to transit agencies, resource agencies, and the public regarding the environmental review process for transit projects that receive FTA funding or approval. Here you will find information on NEPA procedures and other environmental requirements, as well as access to active FTA Environmental Decision Documents (CEs, FONSIs, and RODs).
