Gastroenterology/Hepatology Service

Gastroenterology Services is staffed with experts in the field and provides some of the most advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques in the country . The GI Department offers study, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and conditions, including medical evaluation of gastrointestinal organs including the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, gall bladder, and the treatment of acute and chronic Gastroenterological problems.

GI Services sees over 18,000 patients and peforms over 9,000 procedures every year.

Eligible for Service
All active duty and retired military, and adult dependents ages 18 and above.

If you have not had an appointment in the Gastroenterology Clinic and are experiencing GI symptoms such as: abdominal pain; rectal bleeding; change in bowel habits or heartburn; you will need a referral from your Primary Care Manager prior to being seen in the clinic. Once this referral has been placed, you can then contact the call center at 1.855.227.6331 to schedule a clinic appointment.
