| Summary: | This Order is a comprehensive publication establishing policy and procedures for managing all aspects of certain representatives of the Administrator including selection, appointment, orientation, training, oversight, suspension and termination. This Order represents a consolidation of existing policies across the following Office of Aviation Safety (AVS) lines of business: Aircraft Certification Service (AIR), Flight Standards Service (AFS), and the Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM). This Order also establishes the Designee Management System (DMS), which is a web-based tool designed to standardize the management of designees. |
