Please read the following before beginning the e-Learning Program

Operation Lifesaver's (OLI) new School Bus Driver e-Learning Program is an interactive online experience for public and private school bus drivers. The program brings attention to choices bus drivers often make around tracks and trains and is intended to help bus drivers make safer decisions around the tracks. It does not and is not intended to teach you to drive a bus.

OLI consulted with a wide variety of subject matter experts (SMEs) who contributed their time and real-life experience with school bus driving to create this program.  We included as many of their suggestions as we could.  However, because the specific rules required by state laws and individual school districts vary widely, all situations are not covered.  Contact your local transportation director for specific rules, laws and guidelines on crossing tracks for routes that you drive, or for any other questions you may have concerning your particular route or bus.
