AIA Contract Documents now offers several ways to access over 200 industry standard agreements and forms. ACD5, the new AIA Contract Documents online service, allows you to create, share, and edit your documents anywhere an internet connection is available. The Unlimited and Limited Desktop Software Licenses also allow you to create, share and edit your documents on a specific computer after downloading the software.
ACD5 Online Service License
With AIA Contract Documents' new online service, ACD5, you can access your documents anytime, anywhere, from any computer. ACD5 also gives you the flexibility to work online or offline and protects your documents with state-of-the-art data encryption security.

Unlimited Desktop Software License
An Unlimited Desktop Software License gives 1 to 30 users the ability to create, edit, and finalize over 200 AIA Contract Documents. This license requires you to download the AIA Contract Documents software on each individual computer. The latest version of the software is available for free for all current desktop software license customers.

Limited Desktop Software License
A Limited Desktop Software License requires users to download the AIA Contract Documents software to a specific computer. You may purchase a Docs100 or Docs300 license. Both give you the ability to create and edit agreements and forms from the AIA Contract Documents library for one year. However, users can only finalize a document a predetermined number of times based on an allotted number of document units (DUs)*. A Docs100 license gives you 100 DUs and a Docs300 license gives you 300 DUs. The latest version of the software is available for free for all current desktop software license customers.
**What is 'DU'? It stands for Document Units. With an AIA Contract Documents Limited License, customers have access to all documents in the 12 month license period. Each document that is finalized is assigned a 'unit' value. Each finalized document depletes your reserve of document units. Document unit values range from 0 to 25 per document. See list
