The Kentucky Household Goods Carriers Association (KHGCA) is a nonprofit trade association representing professional movers within the State of Kentucky, providing both local and long distance services. As a condition of membership in KHGCA each member agrees to observe a Code of Ethics committing to provide professional, reliable and safe services at fair and reasonable prices to the Kentucky moving public.
Kentucky Household Goods Carriers Association and this web site have been created to:
- Advance the best interests of the general public and professionals lawfully engaged in the moving and storage business in Kentucky.
- Educate and inform members regarding transportation, storage, and small business issues.
- Promote good will and cooperation among the general public and members.
Our association's mover members range in size from a one-truck family business to the national headquarters for a national van line. Our membership standards and code of ethics help distinguish our members from those movers who don't share our association's values.
Among our member services, KHGCA provides continuing education workshops, an annual convention, a bi-monthly newsletter; forms purchase programs, legislative representation, etc.
