Project Description:   This task seeks to increase knowledge of current practices in data capture and management in transportation and other fields (such as the information technology industry), and assess innovative methods and technologies that dynamically integrate data from multiple sources for distribution.
Goals:  
The key project objectives are:
 
(1) State-of-the-practice assessment of data capture and management methods and technologies.
(2) Innovations scan in data capture and management methods and technologies.
(3) Recommendations for data environment development and management.
Background Information:   To help create data environments for the Real-Time Data Capture and Management (RTDCM) program.
