Project Description:   The objective of this contract is to conduct Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) data analysis and related activities that support achievement of the analysis objectives set forth in the Strategic Plan for Long-Term Pavement Performance Data Analysis. The document is posted at www.fhwa.dot.gov/pavement/ltpp/analysis.cfm under“Strategic Plan.” The contractor shall furnish all necessary facilities, materials, personnel, and shall perform all services necessary to perform the required nonpersonnel services under this contract entitled, “Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) Data Analysis Program.”

Expected Benefits:   The projects that comprise the Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) data analysis program serve two broad functions that must be addressed if LTPP is to fulfill expectations. The projects provide the basis for identifying and developing products that engineers and managers can apply to design more cost-effective and better- performing pavements, and check whether the data being collected are of the quality and completeness needed to find answers to how and why pavements perform as they do.
