Kennedy Interchange

The Kennedy Interchange is the convergence of Interstates 64, 65 and 71 in downtown Louisville, known as "Spaghetti Junction."

Downtown Bridge

The new Downtown Bridge will carry traffic north on Interstate 65 and will span the Ohio River immediately upstream of the John F. Kennedy Bridge, which will carry traffic south on Interstate 65.

Downtown Indiana Approach

The Downtown Indiana Approach includes the realignment of southbound I-65 to the current Kennedy Bridge and construction of a new segment of northbound I-65 from the new downtown bridge.

East End Kentucky Approach

The East End Kentucky Approach to the new East End Bridge will serve as an extension of I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) from its current termination at U.S. 42 to the bridge.

East End Bridge

The new East End Bridge carrying traffic on I-265 will include a new six-lane bridge crossing the Ohio River just north of Harrods Creek in Kentucky to just north of Utica in Indiana.

East End Indiana Approach

The East End Indiana Approach will serve as an extension of IN 265 (Lee Hamilton Highway) from its current termination at IN 62 to the Ohio River and the new East End Bridge.
