The NDDOT and the city of Carrington along with local officials celebrated the opening of a new roundabout at the intersection of US 52/281 and ND 200 with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Today #NDDOT Director Grant Levi along with Bismarck Mayor Mike Seminary, Bismarck City Engineer, Gabe Schell and other city and local government leaders joined to celebrate the dedication of the major reconstruction project along North Washington Street that converted a rural two-lane roadway to a four-lane urban roadway with trails, sidewalks and street lighting. Together, the group celebrated the completed project at a community ribbon cutting event.

Last week the NDDOT along with the city of Killdeer and Dunn County celebrated the completion of the Killdeer Truck Bypass at a ribbon cutting event. Thanks to all our partners on a successful project!
The North Dakota Highway Hall of Honor will add three new members Monday, October 17 at a luncheon at 12 p.m. (CST) at the Radisson Hotel Bismarck, 605 East Broadway Avenue. Tickets are $20 and are available until Tuesday, October 11, by calling Laurie Martin at the NDDOT at 701-328-2584. The Highway Hall of Honor recognizes those who have improved the state highway system or a regional highway system or have used their influence as members of national or regional organizations to improve our highway system's effectiveness or safety. The Highway Hall of Honor Committee is comprised of representatives for highway contractors, city and county organizations, motor carriers, and NDDOT.
The old Verendrye Bridge near Sanish, ND was being built in 1925 in this #throwbackthursday photo. The bridge served the public well for over 25 years until the completion of the Garrison Dam. The Verendrye Bridge was then replaced with a much longer bridge that would span Lake Sakakawea. #nddot #tbt
