Hazard Mitigation Cost Effectiveness (HMCE) Training for Hurricane Sandy Resilience Project Proposals

Event Description:

FTA will hold a second training session on the required Hurricane Sandy Hazard Mitigation Cost Effectiveness (HMCE) analysis in New York City from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM on January 22, 2014. Local participants are encouraged to attend in person. This session will also be streamed on the web. This session will provide training and guidance on completing and submitting the required Hazard Mitigation Cost Effectiveness Analysis with a Hurricane Sandy resilience project application. All applicants are required to participate in an HMCE training session on 1/21 or 1/22 before submitting a project application. All applications must include the HMCE analysis, which will be provided at the training session.

 

Participants are required to register in advance by sending an email with the subject “HMCE Training - 2” to FTASandyResilience@dot.gov.  Applicants must indicate that they will attend in person in order to be admitted at the event. Registered participants will receive an email prior to the webinar with the address or link and phone number to connect to the webinar.
