5 USC 552, Freedom of Information Act
This act covers the following: which public guidance that each agency must publish in the Federal Register, which documents must be available for public inspection and copying, which records and/or information must be made available to the public, regulations imposed upon each agency in regards to this act.

5 USC 2302, Prohibited Personnel Practices
Prohibited Practices outlines procedures that are not allowed within government employment. It also dictates what factors (age, sex, race, etc.) that cannot be used in determining employment.

8 USC 1101, Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
This act outlines which individuals are permitted to work within the United States.

15 USC 2601, Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA)
This act governs the use of toxic chemicals. It specifies that each agency must develop data over the chemicals as well as provide an authority oversee its handling and usage.

18 USC 1030, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1973
This act governs accessing unauthorized information or use of unauthorized computer equipment to access information.

This act amends the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act to include information or data.

20 USC 1681, Education Amendments, Title IX
These amendments prohibit discrimination in educational institutions receiving federal funding.

23 USC 140, Federal-Aid Highway Act
This act requires nondiscrimination in employment connected with Federal proposed projects.

23 USC 324, Federal-Aid Highway Act
This act prohibits the sexual discrimination in employment connected with Federal proposed projects

23 USC 402(b)(1)(D), Highway Safety Act of 1966
This act regulates that each state must have a highway safety program.

28 USC 651, PL 105-315, Alternative Dispute Resolution of 1998
All Federal Agencies must have an Alternative Dispute Resolution program to help resolve internal conflicts.

29 USC 621, Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967
This act declares that employment opportunities must be based on ability, not age, and prohibits discriminating against an older individual due to age.

29 USC 701 et seq, Rehabilitation Act General Provisions
This provision was designed to help eliminate discrimination in areas such as employment, housing, public accommodations, education, transportation, communication, recreation, institutionalization, health services, and public services, along with the goals to facilitate these provisions.

29 USC 791, Employment of Individuals with Disabilities
This law regulates that federal agencies must have affirmative action plans to assist in the employment of individuals with disabilities.

29 USC 793, Employment under Federal Contract
The law regulates that affirmative action to employee individuals with disabilities in federal contracts exceeding $10,000.

29 USC 794, Nondiscrimination under Federal Grants and Programs
An individual cannot be discriminated from any program or grant receiving federal funds on the basis of that individual's disability.

29 USC 2601, Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993
This act entitles employees leave for reasonable medical reasons and prohibits employment discrimination based on family status.

38 USC 4212, Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Act of 1967
All federal contracts of $25,000 or more shall contain a provision requiring the party contracting to take affirmative action to employ qualified special disabled veterans.

38 USC 4301-4333, Uniformed Services Deployment and Reemployment Act
This act provides for the prompt reemployment of individuals deployed in service of their country and prohibits the discrimination of employing individuals because of their service in the uniformed services.

40 USC 476, Federal Property and Administrative Service Act of 1949
No individual shall on the ground of sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity carried on or receiving Federal assistance.

40 USC 762a, PL 100-542, Telecommunications Act of 1998
This act assures that the Federal telecommunications system will be fully accessible to hearing-impaired and speech-impaired individuals.

The Secretary, acting through the Administrator of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, shall be responsible for fostering substance abuse prevention and treatment programs and services in State and local governments and in private industry.

The act prohibits the discrimination against individuals with disabilities in areas such as employment, housing, public accommodations, education, transportation, communication, recreation, institutionalization, health services, and access to public services.

This act provides for the rehabilitation and maintenance of railroad facilities.

47 USC 609, Telecommunications for the Disabled Act of 1982
Required that workplace telephones used by persons with hearing aids and emergency telephones had to be hearing aid compatible. This means that such phones have to be equipped to transmit signals that can be received by hearing aids.

49 USC 306, Federal-Aid Highway Act
A person in the United States may not be excluded from participating in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under, a project, program, or activity because of race, color, national origin, or sex when any part of the project, program, or activity is financed through financial assistance under the Regional Rail Reorganization Act of 1973 or Title V of the Railroad Revitalization and Regulatory Reform Act of 1976.

49 USC 41705, Aircraft Carrier Access Act of 1986
In providing air transportation, an air carrier may not discriminate against an otherwise qualified individual on the following grounds: a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, a record of such an impairment, or being regarded as having such an impairment.

49 USC 47017, Project Grant Applications Approval Conditional on Assurances of Airport Operations
The Secretary of Transportation may approve a project grant application for an airport development project only if the airport will be available for public use on reasonable conditions and without unjust discrimination.

49 USC 47113, Minority and Disadvantaged Business Participation
Each agency is required to expend a certain percentage of amounts available within a fiscal year with small and disadvantaged businesses.

49 USC 47123, Nondiscrimination in Airport Improvement Grants
The Secretary of Transportation shall take affirmative action to ensure that an individual is not excluded because of race, creed, color, national origin, or sex from participating in an activity carried out with money received under a grant designated for airport improvement.
