The Military Health System (MHS) Notice of Privacy Practices (NoPP) is a notice that explains:
- How the MHS will use your protected health information (PHI);
- When and where the MHS may disclose your PHI;
- How to limit where the MHS will disclose your PHI; and
- How the MHS will protect your PHI.
DHA published a new NoPP on October 1, 2013 making the 2003 NoPP void. You can get the new NoPP from any military hospital or clinic.
