SHRP2 Commemorates More Than 200,000 Responders Trained in all 50 States
As of the beginning of August – 200,000 responders have completed SHRP2’s National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Responder Training in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. In a salute to the success of the program, a commemoration was held on August 10, 2016 at the headquarters of the United States Department of Transportation. Nearly 30 organizations and associations attended the event demonstrating their continued support for the TIM training program – and the willingness to partner and effectively improve TIM operations.
SHRP2 Moving Us Forward
More than 40 SHRP2 Solutions have gone through seven rounds of the IAP, enabling state departments of transportation (DOTs), metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), tribal agencies, FHWA's Federal Lands divisions, and others to benefit from the power of innovation.
