Summary

This report presents the results of our quality control review of Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP’s (CTB&K) audit of the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation’s (SLSDC) financial statements for fiscal years 2015 and 2014. The audit’s objective was to determine whether SLSDC’s financial statements were fairly presented in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America. CTB&K, under contract to SLSDC, issued a clean (unmodified) audit opinion on SLSDC’s financial statements. CTB&K’s report did not include any significant deficiencies in internal controls over financial reporting or instances of reportable noncompliance with laws and regulations. Our QCR disclosed no instances in which Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP did not comply, in all material respects, with auditing standards.
