Project ID:
CC-2006-056

Summary

On July 13, Acting Inspector General Todd J. Zinser testified before the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Management, Integration, and Oversight on the importance of oversight of the post 9/11 transportation reconstruction projects in Lower Manhattan. He addressed key lessons learned from OIG's work on federally funded transportation projects across the country that should be applied wherever major transportation construction is undertaken, including reconstruction after any future disaster.
