• Authored a paper titled Application of the New LRFD Guidelines for the Seismic Design of Highway Bridges
• Presented the paper at the National 2003 Western Bridge Engineers Seminar, 2003 Bi-Annual FHWA Bridge Engineers Workshop, 2003 Mid-America Seismic Conference, and AASHTO T3 Committee
• Served as a FHWA representative on a panel with fifteen seismic experts from around the world to present state-of-the-art seismic practice in Ankara, Turkey
• Developed and presented a one-week long seismic training seminar to a delegation of Turkish Engineers in Denver, CO
