• Serving as structural design engineer in safety and highway design for the Midwestern Resource Center
• Providing critical review and comment of State DOT bridge design practices as States update for implementation of load and resistance factor design (LRFD)
• Delivering presentations and technical training seminars on LRFD implementation and FHWA key bridge program initiatives such as the Bridge of the Future, which support State DOT and consultant design engineers
• Hosting national/regional conferences and workshops to deliver state-of-practice bridge technologies;
• Such as the National Prefabricated Bridge Element Conference, which offered training in the latest accelerated construction technologies to over 200 engineers from across the Nation
