•    Led the original design and implementation of the Lake Michigan Interstate Gateway Alliance TravelMidwest.com (formerly known as the Gary-Chicago-Milwaukee (GCM) ITS Priority Corridor) ATIS (advanced traveler information systems) which won FHWA’s best traveler information website for two consecutive years;

•    Employed as a transportation professional for more than 20 years with the Illinois DOT, through which gained a broad knowledge of all facets of transportation;

•    Worked as senior ITS Project Manager with experience in electrical engineering systems, software/object development, and communication networks;

•    Served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineers Corps and is actively engaged as an engineer mentor.
