The constant advancement of equipment technology and availability of online search tools has rendered this database obsolete. However, many of the equipment manufacturers compiled for the database continue to develop tools and equipment that are useful to the trail community, and thus the list of manufacturers will be maintained, although links and recommendations for specific equipment will not.

Inclusion on this list does not constitute product endorsements by the USDA Forest Service or the US Department of Transportation. We urge you to check equipment specifications, site conditions, and legal restrictions carefully when considering equipment for your application.
