In keeping with a mandate from the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, FTA is seeking public comment on its initial inventory of public transportation safety standards and protocols. The inventory is now available for public evaluation in the Transit Safety Standards Compendium.

The feedback received during the 30-day comment period will enable the FTA to gauge the utilization and applicability of the standards and protocols in the inventory. FTA anticipates an official notice will be published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, May 17.
