Evaluation of Labels 2 stars
No supplemental sizing information is given on the labels. The tether is not labeled in all illustrations depicting acceptable modes of installation. Labels do not explain how to use LATCH, and the user must read text to properly use the top tether.
Evaluation of Instructions 5 stars
The instruction manual storage location may be difficult to find and use. The warning stating that the rear seat is the safest place for installation is not illustrated.
Securing the Child 3 stars
The car seat did not arrive fully assembled and set for the smallest occupant. There is a head hugger or body pillow blocking the harness slots in the shell from being easily visible. The harness must be rethreaded to adjust harness height as the child grows. To convert this seat to this mode, multiple actions are required; the user may need to follow along in the manual.
Installation Features 2 stars
It may be uncomfortable for larger hands to route the seat belt or LATCH belt through the belt path. Interference is possible between a seat component and the belt path. The car seat's belt-positioning features are simple to use, but the user may need to refer to the owner's manual. The car seat is equipped with hook-style LATCH attachments which may require twisting to remove from the vehicle.
