Evaluation of Labels 1 stars
There is no complete illustration of a properly restrained child next to the sizing information on the labels. Guidance for selecting the correct harness slot is not given. The belt routing paths are not completely labeled. Labels do not explain the use of LATCH attachments.
Evaluation of Instructions 3 stars
The instruction manual was attached to the seat in a location which may be hard to find. The manual storage location may not be obvious. No full picture exists of a properly restrained child next to sizing information in the owner's manual. The warning to avoid placing the CRS in front of an active air bag is illustrated, but it is located among other warnings.
Securing the Child 3 stars
The restraint did not arrive fully assembled. The harness clip is not labeled to indicate its correct placement. The harness must be rethreaded when reassembling after cleaning. When disassembling for cleaning, mandatory pieces to the restraint must be removed and could be misplaced.
Installation Features 3 stars
The carrier may appear to be securely installed to the base when it is not. LATCH attachments have buttons to depress for removal. There is no labeling to indicate which position the carrier handle should be in while the vehicle is in motion.
