DOT Soliciting Applications for University Transportation Center Grants.

As part of the University Transportation Centers (UTC) program, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking applications from eligible nonprofit institutions of higher education located in federal regions 3 (Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia) and 10 (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington) for grants authorized under the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act. DOT’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA), released a grant solicitation through Grants.gov and on the UTC Program's Web site, http://utc.dot.gov, describing the competition and deadlines for applications. DOT recently awarded UTC grants in the other federal regions.
