State Departments of Transportation

During SAFETEA-LU, each State Department of Transportation was required to establish a full-time position of Coordinator of the State's Safe Routes to School Program. This requirement no longer exists under MAP-21. FHWA issued a Memorandum on September 26, 2005 with instructions regarding this position. You may view a complete list of State SRTS Coordinators.
