Visiting the Regional Office

The Central Region Offices of the FAA reside within the DOT Regional Office building located in the northwest corner of the downtown loop at 9th and Locust in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Regional Office is a secure facility. In order to gain entrance to the Regional Office, visitors must make advance notification to the party they wish to visit. We request you contact our office at least two days prior to your visit. We require information addressing the reason for your visit as well as a listing of all individuals who plan to attend. Please advise if any member of the visiting party is a non-U.S. citizen.

Due to heightened security measures, all visitors are subject to a security check prior to entering the building. Visitors must show a current and valid photo identification in order to gain entrance to the building.

Parking

Parking is not available at the building location. Public parking for a fee is available within walking distance to the building.

Visitors are cautioned that due to ongoing construction in the dowtown area, public parking is limited. We recommend visitors plan for sufficient time to locate available parking.
