Welcome to FTA Region 1 where excellent customer service is our top priority. Located in Cambridge, MA, our regional office serves the New England area and includes the States of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are customer driven, so please feel free to contact us at any time. We look forward to helping you plan and execute transit projects that enhance the quality of life in your communities.
Current Projects
FTA Region 1 has many Capital Projects in progress. CTFastrak in Hartford CT, the Downtown Transit Center in Burlington VT, the MBTA Green Line Extension, the Norwalk River Walk Bridge, Springfield Union Station, and many other projects in Region 1. Our office also provides grantees with operating and capital assistance. There are some other large projects in the works, too.
