Summary

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is initiating an audit of the policies, procedures, and management practices regarding the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) classification of information. Our audit objectives are to determine whether DOT has implemented effective policies and procedures for classification of information, and to identify any practices that may lead to continuous misclassification.
