  1. OUTDOOR ADVERTISING - SIGN AND SITE ACQUISITIONS (23 CFR 750.302(a), 750.303(e) AND 750.306(b)). States acquiring nonconforming signs should also extinguish (i.e., acquire) the sign site interest concurrently with the sign acquisition (see the attachment to this supplement).

  2. DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS - OUTDOOR ADVERTISING SIGN ACQUISITION (23 CFR 750.302(a), 750.305(a)(1) AND 750.306(b)). In establishing the right for a site payment, there must be documentation of ownership or a compensatory interest in the land and compensable interest in the sign.
