Volpe’s Situational Awareness and Logistics Division researches, develops, implements, and analyzes advanced systems to protect, enhance, and ensure resilience of the global supply chain.

Our team develops logistic and situational awareness information systems such as the Maritime Safety and Security Information System (MSSIS), an unclassified global data sharing network based on AIS technology for improving global maritime safety, security, commerce, and environmental stewardship.
