Request Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Performing an online update of a USDOT record (MCS150 update) requires a Personal Identification Number (PIN).

To obtain a Personal Identification Number (PIN), FMCSA requires the user to complete a credit card transaction for verification of the user submitting the request The requestor must provide the following information from the actual credit card being used: 16 digit credit card number; expiration date; security code; billing address and telephone number. This information is captured solely for purpose of the verification of the requestor and does not result in any charges being applied to the credit card used during the transaction. The credit card verification process serves as the applicant's digital signature during the online update process.

Mexican Motor Carriers and Broker ONLY companies are not authorized to perform online updates of their USDOT records (MCS150 update).
