Summary

On November 15, 2010, we issued a quality control report on the audit of the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) consolidated financial statements for fiscal years 2010 and 2009.  Clifton Gunderson LLP, under contract to us and under our supervision, issued a clean (unqualified) audit opinion, but reported five significant deficiencies in internal control and four potential instances of reportable noncompliance with laws and regulations.
