The online system for the National Registry of Pipeline and LNG Operators is now available.  The National Registry requirement was effective January 1, 2012; any hard copy OPID Assignment Requests submitted to PHMSA prior to the system coming online will be entered by PHMSA.  

To submit an OPID Assignment Request, please navigate to the PHMSA Portal at the following URL https://portal.phmsa.dot.gov/phmsaportallanding, then click the link titled "OPID Registration" to proceed with your OPID Assignment Request.
