Geospatial Data Collaboration: Tools for Data-Sharing
Please join the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) GIS in Transportation and Every Day Counts programs for a webinar on geospatial data collaboration.
The webcast will take place on Tuesday, September 30th from 2:30 - 4:00 PM ET. During this webinar, FHWA will highlight how transportation agencies are developing GIS-based screening tools, data libraries, information portals, and other geospatially based tools that support improved data-sharing, coordination, and more effective decision-making. FHWA will provide specific examples of noteworthy practices and initiatives from State Departments of Transportation (DOTs). State DOT staff will be available to answer questions about their noteworthy practices and initiatives. The webinar will also highlight successful strategies to address common challenges related to developing and maintaining data-sharing tools.

Upcoming Eco-Logical Webinar
Eco-Plan & Eco-Plan Advanced
Join the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) on Wednesday, September 10th from 3-4 PM ET to learn about Eco-Plan and Eco-Plan Advanced, geospatial, one-stop-shop web tools for national and local data sets that can be used to identify potential conflicts between ecological assets and transportation plans at the beginning of the planning process.
The webinar will discuss benefits and applications of Eco-Plan, using Eco-Plan to access national datasets, adapting Eco-Plan to your agency's geospatial capabilities and needs, and how to offer FHWA valuable feedback on the tool. To register for the webinar, click here.
