Eco-Logical Application: Online Environmental Resource Mapping
Please join the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for its 17th installment in a quarterly series of webcasts highlighting applications of geospatial technologies in transportation. The webcast will take place on Wednesday, February 27th from 2:00-3:00 PM ET. There is no need to pre-register and the webcast is free of charge. Bill Bass and Meredith Dang of the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) will discuss their Eco-Logical Application, which provides planners with online mapping capabilities to identify valuable environmental resources within the region. The application is a decision support system for regional planning, an inventory of high value environmental resources, and functions as a data clearinghouse for organizations and the public.
