Summary

We initiated an audit of TSA’s oversight of airport screener service contracts in which we will evaluate (1) TSA’s effectiveness in overseeing and administering screener contracts, (2) whether contractors’ invoices accurately reflect the hours worked, and (3) whether contractor records and contract requirements support the rates charged to TSA for screener services. This audit was originally part of our audit of the screener security program, begun on March 7.
