Summary

On August 16, 2012, in Cleveland County Court, Norman, Oklahoma, Perry Morrison, a mechanic with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), pled guilty to a charge of false declaration to a pawn broker in connection with his theft of tools from the FAA.  On August 12, 2011, Mr. Morrison pawned tools belonging to the FAA while claiming to be the owner.  The investigation disclosed that Mr. Morrison stole over $2,400 in tools which he pawned at two pawn shops located in Cleveland and Oklahoma counties.  Mr. Morrison was subsequently sentenced and given a five-year deferred sentence.  He was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service, serve two years of supervised release and pay $565.50 in fines.
