Summary

Michael Saley, a former construction supervisor at the Iroquois Pipeline Operating Company, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Syracuse, NY, for Clean Water Act violations stemming from the company’s construction of the Iroquois Pipeline, a gas pipeline running approximately 370 miles across New York State. Saley was fined $7,500 fine and ordered to serve a year’s probation. Iroquois pleaded guilty in 1996 to related charges and was ordered to pay $22 million in fines and $20 million in lost consumer pass-along costs.
