Guilty Plea in Miami Airport Security Badge Fraud

Summary

Jemma N. James pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Miami, FL to charges of using her employment in the identification section of Miami International Airport to make false security badges for two coworkers. No sentencing date has been set. Alexander Stanford Dupree pleaded guilty on June 22, 2001 to charges of producing false identification documents. Sentencing is set for September 21. Charges are pending against Cedric Floyd Mitchell, a former intern in the airport’s ID section. The trio produced false MIA Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) badges that allowed them access to restricted areas at MIA.
