Summary

Thomas W. Brown, of Herndon, VA, was fined $250 by a Loudoun County, VA, General District Court judge for violating local airport regulations when he attempted to board an aircraft with a concealed weapon at Dulles International Airport on October 13. At that time he was arrested by OIG special agents. The sentencing comes three weeks after Brown pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court, Alexandria, VA, to criminal charges for attempting to board the plane with the weapon. Sentencing for the Federal charges is scheduled for February 5, 2002.
