Four Additional Truckers Plead Guilty to Hours-of-Service Fraud in Otelaunee Transport Case

Summary

Four additional truck drivers for Ontelaunee Transport Services Inc., of Kempton, PA, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia to falsifying their driver’s daily logbook. David Thompson pleaded guilty on October 7 to two counts of falsification; Augustine Henry on October 9 to ten counts; and James Bean and Sean Eck on October 14 to ten counts each. The defendants made the false entries to hide that fact that they were driving over the maximum number of hours allowed under FMCSA regulations. All seven of the company drivers who were indicted have now pleaded guilty.
