FBI Fugitive Pleads Guilty to Using False Name on Pilot Certificates

Summary

Jose F. Guasch of Miami, FL, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Ocala, FL, to making a false statement on FAA airline transport and flight instructor certificates in order to obtain employment as a flight instructor at Ocala Aviation, Inc., Ocala. In August 2000, Guasch used the name Jesus Franscisco Rios on the paperwork and was employed by Ocala Aviation until May 2001.
