Student Pilot Found Guilty for False Statements on Airman’s Certificate

Summary

Tony O. Cox was convicted in U.S. District Court in Greensboro, NC on one count of making a false statement on his application for an Airman Medical and Student Pilot Certificate. Cox failed to disclose a prior conviction for cocaine possession. He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 8, 2005. This case was investigated by OIG with assistance from FAA.
