Co-Owner and Employees of Former Nebraska Trucking Company Plead Guilty to Criminal Violations

Summary

Five individuals from G&C Farms, LLC, (G&C), a family-owned trucking firm in Bridgeport, NE, pled guilty in U.S. District Court in Omaha to a number of criminal violations associated with their joint operation of the trucking business. Connie Adams, co-owner; Brett Adams; and Brian Adams pled guilty to felony charges of conspiracy related to widespread falsification of records, alteration of documents, concealment of drivers’ hours of service, and willful falsification of medical certificates and other drivers’ documents. Stacey Adams and Tammy Adams pled guilty to misdemeanor charges related to those violations. G&C is no longer in business. The case was investigated with assistance from FMCSA. Sentencing is scheduled for June 16-17, 2005.
