Summary

On August 15, Francisco Palacios, a/k/a Fredy Molina, a former driver for Covitta, Inc. (Covitta), a trucking company in Lorton, VA, pled guilty to presenting a counterfeit CDL to a law enforcement officer. Palacios, an illegal alien, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, VA to 10 weeks time served in prison and will be deported. An overweight vehicle citation issued to Palacios at the Dumfries, VA truck scales in April 2005 indicated that Palacios had presented a fraudulent New Jersey CDL (identifying Molina by name, but with Palacio’s photo) to a Virginia State Police officer.
